AllState Care Hospice is a Joint Commission certified and accredited hospice agency that serves clients throughout Southern California. Based in the heart of the lively city of West Hollywood, we provide care for the terminally ill and support for their families through our staff, our services, and our facility.

Hospice Philosophy

The philosophy of Hospice is founded upon a belief in the sacred dignity of human life, and the importance of respecting the creed and philosophy of every individual. We believe that all people are responsible both for themselves and for one another. To this purpose, we are committed to providing compassionate and competent care to affirm life for our patients.

We believe that each person has a right to a dignified death and it is a human experience which affects all who have a relationship with that person. We believe that it is a profound privilege to be allowed by a patient and his or her family to provide them with care and services at a time of need, especially during the final phases of life.

Hospice is an idea, not a place. Our purpose is to provide care that will enhance the quality of the remaining life for those who are facing a terminal illness in his or her home or facility. The purpose of hospice is to provide support and care for persons in the terminal phases of an incurable disease so that they can live as fully and comfortably as possible.

Hospice affirms life and regards dying as a normal process. Hospice neither hastens nor postpones death.

Hospice believes that through personalized services and a caring community, patients and families will be provided with the care and sensitivity that will support and prepare them for and during the patient’s terminal progression.

Our Mission

The mission of hospice is to provide care for persons at the end-of-life stage so they may live as fully and comfortably as possible and to offer continuing support to the bereaved.

Our Vision

Our hospice is committed to providing excellent care for the communities we serve. As an integral part of the healthcare system, our hospice leads in the planning and provision of services at the end of life. The communities we serve are fully aware of the accessible, cost-effective, and compassionate care we provide.

Our Values

The vision of the hospice will be guided by the principles of responsive care: teamwork, leadership, and stewardship. Care to the patient and caregivers will enable those served to experience death with grace and dignity. The Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers will work together to:

  • provide quality, compassionate hospice care;
  • educate the community about death and dying;
  • promote openness, trust, competence, and innovation, and;
  • acquire and wisely manage resources.
